This crystal of solidified arcana can only be found in the Astral Sea, though it is even more rare to find them as a stable ore-crystal. This crystal is pure arcane energy that has crystalized in the strange light of the Astral Sea, allowing you to reclaim lost arcane energy. As an action, you can crush the crystal and restore a 1st level spell slot that you have spent for the day. The crystal can also be found in clusters, this allows you to restore higher level spell slots (or a collection of leveled spell slots) by using the action to crush more than one of the crystals in the cluster. Once the crystals are crushed in this way, the powder becomes arcane energy that flows into your body and restores the spell slots.
Alternatively, a non-spellcaster can crush these crystals as an action and gain protective energies from the crystals. When used in this way, you gain advantage on saving throws against spell effects for 1 hour per the spell slot level the crystal would have restored.
