Anti-Magic Amulet

This Amulet, worn by an infamous Archlich who dwelt in dungeons deep and tombs decrepit, possesses incredible power.

It is a large, square, golden pendant, With a glowing ruby set in it's center. A loop of electrum chain holds it upon the neck, and the pendant itself is engraved with an ancient language lost to time. Some magical researchers believe it is a derivative of primordial, which no aberration alive speaks.

The amulet protects the wearer against any magical charm, spell, or effect that is directed against them. However, if the aggressor rolls a Natural 20 to hit, the effect is nullified and the wearer takes the brunt of the spell that is cast. 

The Wearer of the amulet can still cast their spells, as the amulet protects against outside magical forces.
