This sling was a gift from a dwarven magician to a halfling farmer. How did the farmer earn this family treasure? he asked the dwarf a riddle, a riddle so amusing that the dwarf cast a spell to capture the riddle's sound into threads, the dwarf saw the simple fare the farmer had offered and decided to help him. So he crafted the halfling a humble sling from this cloth. the sling sings out with merry laughter after every stone is cast from it.

simple ranged weapon. 1d4+2 bludgeoning, +2 to hit, functions as a magical weapon when overcoming resistances, range 30/120. Additional effects, After every attack the sling emits laughter that can be heard in a 30ft radius, if the wielder is attuned it can activate an ability once per day from the following list (resets at dawn). Using either ability from this list causes the wielder to take a point of exhaustion and makes the sling unusable for 1d4 rounds
1. the sling enlarges the stone into the size of a trebuchet projectile, this changes the range to 300/1,200 ft. (can't hit targets within 60 feet of it), one target. and gives the projectile 8d10 bludgeoning damage.
2. choose 5 enemies within 30ft after loosing a sling, this 5 enemies must save against a wisdom saving throw, DC=15, or suffer from hideous laughter. wielders concentration determines spell duration. if the wielder fails any concentration all 5 of the spells fail.
