This plate is made out of bright electrum with strange metallic crystals set into it. When attuned, the metal keeps its golden color but takes on a near reflective, liquid sheen akin to that of mercury. In fact, despite holding its hardness it bends and shapes itself to suit your needs subconsciously, allowing for a much more dexterous armor with absolutely no gaps, as it is a single solid piece. Despite being plate, you gain the benefits of up to +2 ac from dexterity as well as gaining advantage on stealth rolls, as the flowing metal almost cushions your footfalls allowing for near complete silent movement.
Complete Envelopment- The plate consists of a single piece of metal flowing around you as it utilizes your resonance with the metallic magics, and as such gains complete immunity to piercing, and resistance to slashing damage as there are no openings for weapons of these kinds to utilize. This plate gives +2 to AC
Self Repair- This plate is completely invulnerable to permanent damage. Aside from having the crystals which are often completely enveloped by the plate destroyed, it can simply flow back into shape to repair any damage.
Symbiotic Blade- The plates amorphous nature allows for interactions far more dynamic than simply repairing itself or giving high protection. By taking a bonus action to thin the armor itself and reduce your AC by 3, you may form a magical blade from the same material as the plate, though with nearly all of the gems, including two additional gems which are typically inactive within the armor, set into the pommel and cross guard. This weapon is considered a separate magical item.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
