Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a cleric, druid or paladin.)

This carved wooden and amber amulet is usually found in old temples or with troves of clerical items.  A number of them were supposedly created by a group of fastidious clerics to clean their temples, but are prized by adventurers to remove blood, grime, and worse after a fight.

When a charge is expended, the amulet's wearer can completely clean characters and their belongings simply by touching them one after the other in less than one minute.  If multiple characters are touching (e.g. holding hands in a circle) at the time, the spell affects them all at once.  All blood, grime, garbage, sewage, etc. and their odors are removed instantly from the character and its belongings. The effect is limited to a maximum of eight medium sized individuals per charge, and the effect is decreased for characters over six feet tall. A Goliath, for instance, counts as two for this purpose.

The amulet has one charge, which is fully restored each dawn.  It's rumored that the wood used to carve the amulets came from a temple's washtub, but druids can determine that the wood is from an ash, rowan, or other sacred tree, so the washtub tale is certainly unlikely.

It's worth noting that stains will be removed from everything carried by the touched individual, except items inside a bag of holding, portable hole, or similar device.  If, for some reason, such stains are desired (as on a disguise, for instance), the item must be removed from contact with its carrier.

Notes: cleric, druid or paladin.
