Amulet of the Watchful Hind

A small stag-shaped pewter amulet on a woven leather chain. When attuned to, the stag's head turns to follow its wearer's line of sight.

Once per short rest, when not concentrating on a spell, you may spend 15 seconds concentrating your thoughts on a specific creature (in general terms, not individual; for example, you can focus on aboleths, not an individual aboleth).

After you have done so, for the following 30 seconds, you have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track creatures of that creature's type and Intelligence checks to recall information about them, and can read and understand a language of your choice spoken by that creature (if any).
