Achazar's Ruin

Crafted and wielded by the ancient warrior monk Typhus, these enchanted bracers are stained to appear crimson red with blood of unknown origin. 

Dormant State.

• You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with your unarmed strike while wearing them.
• When you finish a short or long rest, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your total number of ki points

Awakened State.

• The bonus to attack and damage rolls with your unarmed strike increases to +2
• You can cast the Thunder Step spell from the bracers as a bonus action, vanishing a cloud of red smoke. The property of the bracers can’t be used again until you finish a short or long rest, or until you score a critical hit with an unarmed strike against a hostile creature.

Exalted State.

• The bonus to attack and damage rolls with your unarmed strike increases to +3
• You can transform unexpended hit dice into ki points as a bonus action on your turn. For every hit dice you sacrifice, you regain 1 ki point. You can sacrifice a maximum number of hit dice equal to your Wisdom modifier per turn. Any ki points you create with this feature vanishes after you finish a long rest.
