Weapon (greatsword), artifact

This Silver Greatsword is wrapped in a fragile, faded purple leather-like material that crumbles when squeezed tightly. The ring-pommel on the end an ancient torn fabric dangling from it of what appears to have once been some kind of banner. If revealed, the sword itself seems to be in perfect condition with no signs of corrosion and a polish that makes it appear brand new. The metal of the blade appears, at first, to be similar to a Damascus, but the mottling patterns move across the sword slowly like clouds across the sky on a calm day.

This sword cannot be attuned to, but can be used just as a regular greatsword. The sword’s extreme sharpness and perfect balance give it increased slashing damage compared to a traditional greatswords.

If a spell, such as Identify, is used to reveal the properties of the sword it reveals that it is a +3 greatsword, but it is already attuned to another soul.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
