This simple rock is about the size of a bird. It has no sharp edges, only blunt surfaces. Three of its kind were made by Olbuch, the primordial of the wilds, as a way to dig savagery into civilization.
The rock can be destroyed as easily as any other rock. It maintains its properties if it is split into multiple pieces.
The rock’s dormant state is achieved by killing a humanoid using the rock.
Dormant
The rock grants the following benefits in its dormant state:
- Attacks made against humanoids with the rock have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
The rock’s awakened state is achieved by covering the rock in the blood of a humanoid.

- When the attuned creature takes the Attack action to make a melee attack against a humanoid using the rock, it can make an additional attack against the same target.
- When the attuned creature takes a long rest while the rock is on their person, they have visions in their sleep of the rock embedded in the flesh of a humanoid corpse. They are magically induced to believe that it smells good.
The rock’s exalted state is achieved by cooking the rock in the corpse of a humanoid killed with the rock before consuming said corpse.
