Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a Can be attuned by Warlocks, Sorcerors and Mages)

A book bound in mortal flesh and enchanted by attuning it to the soul of a sorcerer or mage, this book contains all of the knowledge to peer through mists of faith and the fog of madness when casting magic. While this tome doesn't contain any specific spells, by casting any spell or cantrip through it's pages, it gives the user +1D8 to any wild magic saving throw. Casting a spell by reading the diary requires the spell’s normal casting time plus 1d4 modifier on a successful saving made by a target. Once the spell is cast, the words on the page fade, and the page crumbles to dust. If the casting is interrupted, the page is not lost, but the caster still automatically loses a spell slot, and instead, the spell goes wild (refer to wild magic spells list).

If the spell is on your class’s spell list but of a higher level than you can normally cast, you must make an ability check using your spellcasting ability to determine whether you cast it successfully at a spell casting DC of 15. On a failed check, the spell goes wild before it disappears from the page with no other effect (Refer to the wild magic spells list for resulting effects).
