Armour of Pride

The Armour of Pride is one of 7 artefacts, each linked to one of the 7 deadly sins. Pride's artefact is a suit of brilliant golden armour, which grants the wearer increased strength and resilience. However, it comes at a cost. If the wearer exhibits pride whilst wearing the armour, then they are incapacitated. The suit continues to operate, but by its own decision-making rather than the wearer's.

(it is possible, but unproven, that this armour is in some way bound by the same magick as that which gives Mimics life.)

(all credit goes to Brennan Lee Mulligan at Dimension 20. The Armour of Pride is my attempt at transposing the armour worn by folks such as Gilear Faeth in my own games, but i published it as part of the set of sin artefacts, the rest of which are completely my own design.)

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
