Any creature that physically touches whoever is wearing this item causes an explosion of force energy to propel the creature (up to medium size) 3d6ft in the opposite direction, taking 3d8 bludgeoning damage if they collide with anything solid and immovable like a stone wall (or half with something solid that isn't immovable). If this is into the air, the creature may also take fall damage.
However, the item is powered by the life energy of the wearer, causing them to lose 1 hit dice of hp whilst wearing it.
