Originally created by the Moltenforge family, the Arcane Prototype was made to add extra “umph” to a spellcaster’s arsenal. It is used to fire out spell components with tremendous speed in small glass reliquaries as well as work with bladesinger abilities. This second version, developed in secret by Lady Birdsong, was meant to improve upon the original’s design. It can double the range on 3 spells per long rest and function on its own by firing metal slugs with a simple cantrip dealing 1d6+INT. While she was killed before she was able to pass on this creation, Lady Birdsong’s spirit is happy to know that the prototype eventually made it into her son’s hands.
Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
