Once worn by the mighty conqueror Alexandros in the war of the Zhentarim, these pauldrons have been passed down through millennia to those chosen to seek out victory in Nike's name.
The Plates of Victory may be worn over any normal set of Heavy Armor. This item requires attunement by a Cleric and grants the following benefits:
- Innate Spellcasting: The Plates of Victory have 10 Charges of innate spellcasting that recharge 1d6+3 charges at dawn. These charges can be used to cast the following spells:
- Turn the Tide: Once per day you may turn the tides of battle towards victory. Whenever you or another friendly creature within 60ft of you make an attack action you may use your reaction to give that creature advantage on an attack roll.
- Shield of Faith (1st-Level): -2 Charges
- Guiding Bolt (1st-Level): -2 Charges
- Aid (2nd-Level): -3 Charges
- Spirit Shroud (3rd-Level): -4 Charges
*Spells can be cast at a higher level with cumulative costs (i.e. -2 becomes -4, -3 becomes -6, etc.)
