This magic Longsword’s blade is fashioned from a single shaft of bottle green volcanic glass. The hilt is crafted from a cobalt metal, and contains intricate platinum wire interwoven with the grip, which is made from nugalope horn and a faceted bottle-green gemstone mounted to the butt of the handle.

When you hit with an attack roll using this Longsword, the target takes an extra 1d8 fire damage and you can cause green fire to leap from the target to a different creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of it. The second creature takes fire damage equal to 1d8+3.

The sword has 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. When you hit a creature with an attack roll using the sword, you can expend 1 charge to regain a number of hit points equal to the extra radiant damage the sword dealt.

While you’re holding the sword, you can use a bonus action to cause it to shed bright green light in a 30-foot radius and dim green light for an additional 30 feet, to cause it to shed dim light in a 10-foot radius, or to douse the light.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
