A shield with spikes protruding from the front, its design clearly intends for bashing the target and stabbing them with its pointed spikes
This shield gives the normal +2 shield bonus. In addition, as a Bonus Action on your turn, you may make a melee weapon attack using this shield. On a success, the target is dealt 1d8 + Str modifier piercing damage.
This Bonus Action can be taken a number of times equal to twice your prof bonus per Long Rest.
Proficiency with a Morningstar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
