Weapon (battleaxe), legendary (requires attunement by a Warlock)

Agony is a large double-headed axe, its blade is reminiscent of its usual wielder. The head of the axe boasts a dark damascus pattern, its blades are brightly polished silver and it has two large angular green gemstones embedded into it that shimmer and emit a glowing mist when fiends are nearby.

Straight Pain. You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it and the axe deals an extra 2d6 necrotic damage to creatures that aren’t undead.

Soul Shattering War Club. As a bonus action, you can briefly morph Agony into massive deadly war club. Your next melee attack that hits with this weapon deals 3d12 force damage and the creature must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or become stunned until the end of their next turn. Once you use this property, it can't be used again until you complete a short or long rest.

D-E-D. Dead! When you roll a 20 on an attack roll with this weapon against a fiend, you lop off one of the target's limbs, with the effect of such loss determined by the GM. If the creature has no limb to sever, you lop off a portion of its body instead. When you hit, if the creature has fewer than 100 hit points, that fiend must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or drop to 0 hit points.

The Hunt. You are aware when fiends are within 60 feet of you, although you don't know the exact direction.

Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Necrotic, Damage: Force, Warlock, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Topple
