This black and gold longsword is divine, blessed by the Raven Queen. The gemstone eye socketed in the hilt is said to watch the wielder closely, to ensure that they are righteous and just. After decades of dormancy this blade had lost some of its blessed strength, but by virtue of the wielder's care and strength in its grip, it has regained what once made it a true blade of heroes facing undeath.
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. You also deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage while attuned.
Give and Take - When you hit an enemy with a melee weapon attack (excluding smites) using this weapon, you receive temporary hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt. These temporary hit points don't stack, but you may choose to replace your total with a new total when you hit.
Raven's Mercy - Any necrotic damage dealt using this weapon ignores the resistance of undead creatures. Creatures that can return from death cannot do so if the final blow is dealt with this weapon, unless targeted by a spell capable of resurrection.
Queen's Blessing - While attuned to this weapon, you gain advantage on death saving throws, immunity to the charmed condition, and resistance to necrotic damage.
Black Smite - When you use Divine Smite with this weapon, you can elect for the additional damage to be necrotic instead of radiant. This necrotic damage ignores all resistances.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
