- You have a Swimming speed equal to your Walking speed. Additionally, you have a +5 bonus on Athletics checks made to swim or climb.
- You have resistance to Lightning damage.
Worn by the mercenary captain Agren Alstborn, who made a vicious name for himself and his crew. Agren's crew was known for their lack of mercy, and Agren himself was no kinder to anyone but his employers, and even then he was never a pleasant presence. His death is said to have occurred during a storm when his ship, the Blackfire Savant, was struck by lightning and sent to the bottom of the Falrean Sea.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
