Wielded by the Serpent’s most honored warriors, this weapon’s serrated blades are rough-cut emerald, and its heavy wooden haft is a dark oak carved with the symbol of the Sun Serpent.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

You can cast green-flame blade using the macuahuitl as though you were an 11th-level spellcaster. Additionally, you have resistance to radiant damage.

This weapon has 3 charges. You can expend charges to cast the following spells from the macuahuitl (spell save DC 16): daylight (1 charge), crusader’s mantle (2 charges), searing smite (4th-level version, 2 charges).

The macuahuitl regains 1d3 expended charges each day at dawn.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
