While this is attached you can use it as a Spellcasting focus. You cannot equip or use other Spellcasting focuses while this is attached. When used as a Spellcasting focus, you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and +1 to your spell save DC.

When first acquired this prosthetic has 20 charges and it regains 2d4 + 2 of these charges every long rest, never having more than 20 total charges.

Charges of this prosthetic can be used in place of spell slots for spells for Sorcerers. 

Example: If you cast a 3rd level spell through this it uses 3 charges, spells can be cast at higher levels at the cost of the new level in charges, example: casting a 3rd level spell as a 5th level spell costs 5 charges.

When a spell is cast using charges from the prosthetic, roll two times on the Wild Magic Surge table and use either number.
