Wondrous Item, rare
A quartz crystal with some raw magic in its core.
If a spellcaster casts a 2nd level spell that does not require a spell attack roll while holding the crystal, the spell is stored within. The holder of the crystal can use an action to release it by concentrating their inner magic through it. Once released, the magic energy within is expended. The magic energy can be restored by channeling magic through it for 2 hours.
