A blessed sword is given to those especially worthy in Pelors sight. Bestowing a reincarnation of the sword to a holy cleric or paladin of Pelor every century. The blade is particularly made to shine light in the dark undead caverns and smite that evil of necromancy. Andor, wielder of the original blessed sword, received it during a journey to the lair of a vile necromancer. He pledged himself to reestablish the church and worship of Pelor in the midst of the dark times. Once he fell during a mighty battle, the sword was passed to Rienne of Crâsson, a fighter who took up the position as the leader of the new church of Pelor.
This sword does the same base damage as a regular longsword.
Pelor's Holy Fire. You can use a bonus action to speak the name of the sword (which only the wielder knows), causing flames to erupt from the blade. These flames shed bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 2d4 fire damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.
Undead's Bane. When an undead creature comes in contact with the blade it becomes burned, it takes 2d4 fire damage at the end of it's turn until it is incapacitated.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
