Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Monk)

These armbands are said to carry the weight of one's soul deep within its fabric. Those with monastic training are able to bring their internal Ki to become equal with that soul as they bond with this item.

If they don't already, your unarmed strikes are treated as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities against nonmagical damage. You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls you make using unarmed strikes.

When you hit a creature or object with an unarmed strike, you deal an additional 1d10 bludgeoning damage with that attack. If you hit a creature or object with a critical hit, you deal 3d10 bludgeoning damage from this feature, instead of 2d10. Furthermore, you have advantage on unarmed strikes you make against a creature or object that is of a Size larger than you.

You can use your bonus action to shed the weight of your armbands, which floats about in your aura as an invisible spirit. For 1 minute, you gain the benefits of the Haste spell, however, this is not treated as a spell or magical effect for you. When the duration ends, you do not suffer the penalties listed on the Haste spell. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Short Rest or Long Rest.
