Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

One of the blades of the Justicar used to deliver divine judgement. Attuning to the blade is a fiery process, where the remainder of the creature's hit points are reduced to 1.

This weapon has +1 to attack and damage and counts as a magical weapon for the purposes of overcoming resistances. Additionally, it will deal an additional 1d8 to any creature huge or larger per attack.

When the wielder has less than a quarter of their hit points remaining, the blade becomes embroiled in holy flames. These flames shed bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. The blade deals an additional 2d8 fire damage per attack. Undead creatures damaged by the flame also lose the ability to regenerate any hit points for one round.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
