To teach the jug a liquid it must first taste the liquid. Poor liquid into the jug to teach it. The quantity that the jug will then produce is at the DM’s discretion
Currently the jug can produce:

Basic Poison - 1/2oz
Beer - 4 Gal
Honey - 1 Gal
Mayo - 2 Gal
Oil - 1/4 Gal
Vinegar - 2 Gal
Fresh Water - 8 Gal
Salt Water - 12 Gal
Wine - 1 Gal
Hemlock Tonic - 1/4oz
Pink Paint - 1/4oz
