Ashes of Mundane Power

Found in a small pouch, these ashes seem to radiate with a sort of power, though not magical in nature, it in fact seems to absorb and eliminate any magical essence it comes into contact with. The pouch contains enough for 3 handfuls.

As a reaction to a spell being cast, the holder of this pouch can quickly pull and throw a handful of the ashes into the air. If you do so, you cast counterspell at 5th level, using your Intelligence as the spell casting ability if required.
