Weapon (morningstar), uncommon

A line of translucent constellations seems to bind these 2 morningstars together, making them an inseparable pair.

The saving throw DC for this pair of weapons is 8 + your STR modifier + proficiency bonus.

When wielding this pair of morningstars, you may use your bonus action to speak their command word and light up the constellations covering both weapons.

When activated, the weapons emit dim light for 10ft in all directions. Also, you can choose one creature to target. When you target the creature, a constellation is grafted onto them until they drop to 0 hit points. This constellation gives you a +1 to hit and damage while attacking them with these weapons, as well as choosing another target within 15ft to make an intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes the equivalent damage from the attack as radiant damage. This effect may trigger only once per turn.

If the creature you were targeting drops to 0 hit points, you may choose another creature to target as a free action on your turn. The duration stays the same, however.

The effect lasts for 1 minute and after running out, you must finish a short rest before using it again.

Proficiency with a Morningstar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
