The two blades of this steel axe resemble the wings of a dragon, though the complex machinery within holds the secret to allowing this weapon to transform into a sword and shield and back again, with the axe head taking the form of the shield.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This weapon has two forms, a greataxe +1, or a longsword +1 and accompanying shield. You may change between these two forms once per turn, either by taking an action to do so, or by using Morphing Slash.
Morphing slash. Immediately before taking the attack action on your turn using this weapon, you may change the form of the weapon.
Complex mechanism. If you roll a natural 1 on an attack roll using this weapon, the mechanism locks and the weapon becomes stuck in the current configuration. The weapon can not change its form until you spend a short rest repairing this weapon.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
