Weapon (shortsword), unknown rarity (requires attunement by a This item must be attuned by either a Rouge, Ranger, or Fighter of 4th level, or a 5th level character with a Dexterity of 15 or higher)

This Short sword has a blade made of multiple metals, including steel, copper, and iron. This unique design gives it a wave-like design, with the crest of the waves being copper, and the steel sky lighter than the iron water. This fairly light and balanced blade has a flat (+1) bonus. If you are able to make an attack during a surprise round in combat, or are able to make a surprise attack, you gain advantage on the attack roll. While wielding the Shortsword in one hand, you are able to add your proficiency bonus to all Dexterity (Stealth) and Dexterity (Slight of hand) skill checks, or double your proficiency bonus if you are already proficient with the skill. If you are attacked by a melee attack that you can see, you may use your reaction to use the blade to try and block the attack, giving you a (+1) AC bonus against that attack.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
