Amastacia's Alchemical Spell Scope

While equipped with this scope, you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls.

While attuned to this weapon you may use an action to cast Ray of Frost. 

At the beginning of your attack action choose one of the following effects when you make a ranged spell attack: 

• Magnetic Reaction: For one target ignore half and three quarters cover.  
• Enhanced Combustion: Add an 1d6 of the spells damage type. 
• Ionic Beam: When you to make an ranged spell attack roll, the spell's range is doubled. 
• Overload: You gain advantage on the attack rolls. In addition all above effects may be applied. On a attack roll of 2-5 the spell backfires (you are hit with your own spell). On a attack roll of 1 the spell backfires and the Scope is left inoperable until successful tinkerers tools check and 1000gp of materials are used to repair it.
