Armor of the dragon queen

This armor was forged by the god of chromatic dragons to help in the fight against the forces of the abyss. Made from her strongest scale and given to her champion it helped give birth to a great warrior but was hidden away after the war so it may not be used against it maker. The armor looks to be made of the scales of a red dragon and shares a design that looks similar to one but it also ordained with lines of golden energy that flow over it surface and change in color.

Dormant state. While in this state the armor grants the following benefits when being worn

• The wearer gains a +1 to their ac
• The wearers attacks deal an extra 1d8 fire or lightning damage on a successful hit.
• The wearer has resistance to fire and lightning damage.

Awakened state. When in this state the armor abilities gain the following upgrades along with any new ones

• The bonus to ac increases to a +2
• The extra damage increases to 1d10 damage and has the option to deal poison or acid instead
• The wear gains additional resistances to poison and acid damage
• The armor can now create spectral wings made of light. These wings can be activated as a bonus action and last for 10 minutes or till deactivate as a bonus action. While the wings are active you gain a fly speed that is equal to your current walking speed. This feature can’t be used again till the wearer finishes a long rest

Exalted state. When in this state the armor abilities gain the following upgrades along with any new ones

• The bonus to ac increases to a +3
• The extra damage increases to 1d12 and now has the option to deal cold damage instead.
• The wearer gains an additional resistance to cold damage.
• When the wear is hit with an attack that deals fire, cold, poison, acid, or lightning damage, the armor can absorb the damage taken and instead grants the wearer temporary hp equal to the damage dealt. This temporary hp last for 1 hour and this feature can’t be used again till the wearer finishes a long rest.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
