These gilded armbands are studded with jade to look like the body of a serpent. It ends in a head with rubies in its eyes, and when worn it appears as if two sinister snakes are coiled around your forearms, ready to strike. When you punch with the armbands equipped, illusion magic makes the snakes look like they nip at the target alongside your strikes. The riches cannot be removed from the armbands unless the magic in the armbands are simultaneously dispelled by dispel magic (cast on each band at the same time, or it fails). These riches amount to approximately 1500 gp.
Whenever you make an unarmed strike, you deal an extra 1d6 poison damage on a hit, and the target must make a DC 11 constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute.
Curse. This curse only applies when you roll for initiative. On an initiative roll of 1, the armbands painfully constrict around your arms. You suffer disadvantage on attack rolls and strength saving throws until you use an action to make a DC 15 strength check to overcome the bindings. The bands return to normal once you succeed. If you roll a 1 on this save, you are poisoned for 1 minute.
