Arcane Eye

This eye is a unique creation made specifically for the Captain Decaprino. You have access to the following abilities while wearing it,

• Your Intelligence increases by 2, as does your maximum.

• The eye functions as a +2 arcane focus for spells.

• This eye grants proficiency in perception checks. If you already have proficiency then it becomes expertise.

• You have advantage on Perception checks that rely on sight.

• You have darkvision that can see in normal and magical darkness out to a range of 120 feet.

• You can see invisible creatures and objects, as well as see into the Ethereal Plane, out to a range of 120 feet.

• You can see the strands of magic within 120 feet of you. Magic items, conduits of magic such as other spellcasters, spells themselves, and other magical sources cause vibrations in these strands. From the vibrations you can tell what school the magic is and generally the strength of the spell (Level 1-3: Potent, Level 4-6: Dangerous, Level 7-9: Deadly)

• You can make all Perception checks using Intelligence instead of Wisdom.

  Note: The sight can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
