This workshop is mounted to the side of a large wagon in between the wheels, it spans the distance between the wheels, and covers the height of the box of the wagon.
It takes one person fifteen minutes to assemble the basic workstation, or a full hour to assemble the complete workshop.
When fully erected it provides a small shelter, 10 feet by 6 feet, with a slanted roof, and a heat source that requires fuel (wood, coal, etc.).
This workbench is designed to be a small apothecary's workshop and when used properly it doubles your proficiency bonus on all, alchemist, poisoner, herbalism, and brewing crafting attempts.
Anyone can open, erect, and use the shelter aspect of this workshop, however it is enchanted so that the workbench can only be opened by someone attuned to it, up to three individuals can be attuned to this workshop at any one time.
Additionally this workshop is enchanted to prevent the jostling and spilling of components, the drawers, doors, lids, and tops of containers cannot be opened or removed except by a person attuned to the workshop.
Components of this station include,
A large piece of waterproof canvas with a hollow outer hem, attached to the outer/lower edge of the canvas, and grommeted edges. When not in use, this canvas covers the side of the wagon, providing a dry environment for supplies. This canvas can be used as a roof, providing shade, or protection from weather in general.
A long pole slid through the outer/lower hem of the canvas, with holes in either end of the pole. This pole is used to support the canvas when it is used as a roof.
A series of small drawers, compartments, shelves, and bins, in total 8 inches deep, 7 feet long, and the height of the box of the wagon. They are fully stocked with basic instructional manuals, and all but the rarest of components.
Three small kegs, 8 inches wide, and 18 inches long, stacked one over the other filled with purified water, clarified oil, and ethyl alcohol. these kegs are mounted sideways towards the rear of the wagon, and can be removed.
A workbench that when not in use folds up over the bottom half of the storage area. When unfolded it slides under the bottom of the storage area, with a total work area that is two feet wide, and 7 feet long, and sits about three feet off the ground. Permanently attached to the bench, and folding into compartments when the bench is folded up, are various tools including a mortar, grinder, brazier, etc.
In addition stored in a compartment under the canvas, towards the front end of the wagon
- Three separate attachable sides , two 6 feet wide with an angled top the height from the side of the wagon to the ground, and two which are 6 feet wide each and sized to reach the ground, Grommets are even spaced along all of the edges. These can be used laced together with the top canvas to make a small shelter.
- Poles used to prop up the outer edge of the canopy through the holes on the long pole, the lower end is propped on the bottom edge of the wagon creating a triangle with the canvas.
- A small folding chair with a low back, the seat and back are heavy canvas.
- A small folding sheet metal camp stove, with legs, and a collapsing stovepipe.
- four separate fifty foot lengths of rope.knotted on one end.
- A hammock that can accommodate one medium humanoid.
This workshop weighs 350 pounds without components.
If this Workshop is built into the side of the wagon, it decreases the interior width of the wagon by one foot in between the wheels. If it is attached to the side of the wagon without equal weight (not including components) on the opposite side of the wagon it causes the wagon to roll at disadvantage when crossing moderate difficulty, or higher, terrain. If the weight from this workshop is offset, it does not roll at disadvantage, but the wagon's speed is permanently decreased by five feet.
