This item acts, for the most part, the same as regular ball bearings, except in the pouch there is also an accompanying silver ring with an inlaid ball bearing.

As an Action, you can spill these tiny metal balls from their pouch to cover a level, square area that is 10 feet on a side. A creature moving across the covered area must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. A creature moving through the area at half speed doesn’t need to make the save.

As a bonus action, the wearer of this ring has the ability to move the cluster of ball bearings up to 20ft in any direction up to a distance of 120ft from themselves, or as an action, command the balls to roll back into the pouch. Any ball bearing that is greater than 20ft away from the cluster, for example being removed purposefully or rolling down a drain, loses it's connection to the ring and returns to being a regular ball bearing.
