Made of magically shaped wood, Axe of Mielikki was crafted millennia ago by an Archdruid, under the direction of the Mielikki, goddess of forests, herself. The tales tell of a great war that raged and the need for a weapon to match a particular warrior and his strength, thus the Axe was created and then used in battle to stop the advance of a terrible foe.
The legends also say the warrior stopped the enemy from his advance, but at the cost of his own life. Shortly after his death at the hands of that enemy, the Axe was taken by his allies and not seen again for thousands of years. However, the weapon has reappeared once more. When held, the axe seems much more dense than one made of wood should and its power to cut through materials and enemies alike is unparalleled, saying it's like that of diamonds.

When using the weapon in battle, the wielder gains +3 to attack and damage rolls made with the axe, and the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage.
Upon landing a hit, the target takes 1d12 additional slashing damage.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: proficiency in the Nature skill and attunement by a Druid, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
