Anteos Chain

This Silver chain measures 1 inch in width, 100 feet in length weighs 10 pounds, and can be in any shape of the following chain designs:

You can use a reaction in response to a creature that is about to either, move, take an action, or take a bonus action to attempt to capture them. They must attempt a DC 20 Dexterity Check to dodge. If they succeed, the chain misses and retracts back to the user. If they fail, the are captured by the chain. While captured, the user on their turn can order the target to take an action bonus action or reaction which uses theirs as well, with movement being the only thing the user can make both themselves and the target use. Before the captured follows a command of the user, they can attempt to make a the DC 20 Strength or Wisdom check to break out of the chain, they can also attempt this check on the start of all their turns. On a critical Success, the user and target swap roles, with the target reaping all the benefits.

The range of this item varies depending on how large the target creature is, as the chain needs enough length to wrap around. Against a Fine creature, the range is 90 feet, a Diminutive creature 80, a Tiny creature 70, a Small creature 60, a Medium creature 50, a Large creature 40, a Huge creature 30, a Gargantuan creature 20, and against a Colossal creature, 10 Range.

A creature, captured is restrained. Other Creatures can also attempt to break the target out of the Chain, but ONLY with a DC 20 Strength check. If the chain is in or under effect of a Magic Absorption, Immunity, or Nullification spell or effect, it Loses this ability and acts as a normal 100 foot chain.

Once the Chain is broken off the target by anyone but the user, they can't be captured again by it for the next 24 hours.
