Attunement. To attune to this item, both siblings and a third person have to be within 5 ft. of each other. The third person attaches both parts of the item to the siblings and decides wich one of the siblings will be affected by wich pert of the curse. While attuning the third person also decides on a the appearance of the casted spell and is able to imagine a task. This task do not vanishes with all other memories and become important to both siblings, for the one without knowing why.
Effect. While attuned the siblings share their dreams. While the curse is not active, it is possible for both to communicate basic ideas and feelings over any distance. At the moment the disguised sibling considers the given task as done, the other sibling is able to get an idea of the basic outcome of the quest, such as good, bad, successful or failed.
For divination magic and other types of gaining information, the magic items counts as part of the attuned body and can not be removed.
Curse. This item is cursed. Being one of the siblings becoming attuned to it, extends the curse on you. Directly after attuning, one of the siblings will immediately lose all of its personal memories. Its no longer recognizing any person known before, not even the other sibling. The Spell attached to this item is casted on this sibling and can not be removed by any other means than the removal of the curse. All conscious magic abilities are also removed.
The other sibling will, from the moment of attuning until the removal of the curse, carry all lost memories and abilities of the other one. This causes an enormous level of physical and psychical stress, causing the maximum amount of time that can pass between two LR to be shortened to 12h or else cause one level of exhaustion.
Removing the Curse. The curse can be removed by any means that normally will remove a curse, if it is casted on the not disguised sibling. The attuning to the item will stay, but the curse no longer affects any of the two siblings and all effects will vanish.
If the remove curse is casted an the disguised sibling the personal magic is rebelling against the removal. Every try causes one level of exhaustion on the wearers. A successful one causes (1d4 * 2 * level of the highest available spellslot of the wearer - Spell level) / 4 level of exhaustion rounded down. Its only successful if the remove curse spell is at least one level above the highest spellslot of the wearer, before the curse. Otherwise the removal fails.
If the curse is removed successful, all effects on both siblings ends.
If one of the siblings dies before the end of the curse, the curse also ends, but the changes and effects become permanent, and can not be removed by a remove curse spell.
