A Steel longsword with three runes laid in silver along the guard, and 6 up the blade. Creatures slain by this sword have their souls stolen at the moment of death to charge its runes. In addition to slaying creatures, the attuned can offer their own life force to the sword; costing 1 hit dice of damage to the self per runic charge filled. The sword holds a total of 6 charges.
Soul Eater. As creatures are slain, or life force is offered, the silver runes laid in the blade will glow faintly. At 3 Charges filled, the sword gains +1 to attack and damage rolls. At 6 Charges filled the sword gains +2 to attack and damage rolls.
Soul Expulsion. On any successful attack made with the sword, the attuned can expend their filled charges to deal an additional +2 psychic damage per filled charge at the time of expulsion.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
