Armor of the Sea Father

This set of heavy set of armor resembles a reinforced diving suit, including a thick canvas under-suit, heavy bronze plates, and a large diving helmet with a cloudy window made of thick glass. This armor was worn by a human diver who was enslaved by Elves to retrieve the treasure of sunken ships and magical underwater ore. When the Elves kidnapped his daughter, the diver reinforced his suit and attempted to rescue her. Whether or not he succeeded is unclear, but the evidence before you does not spark hope.

This armor greatly increases the wearer's resilience and strength, but the sheer weight of the armor slows the wearer.

When an ally within 10 ft of you takes damage, you may use your reaction to reduce the damage taken by half, and take damage equal to the same amount.

Flaw: While attuned to this armor, you are consumed by the overwhelming need to protect your friends. Whenever an ally you can see drops below a quarter health, you must make a DC 15 wisdom saving throw. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure, you must move are as far possible and place yourself between the ally and the source of damage.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
