Weapon (yklwa), artifact (requires attunement)

An object of legend that appears to simply be a huge boulder. Its wielders are known for their unbelievable strength and stamina, but also for their arrogance and gullibility- no wielder has sought out this weapon while knowing the truth of its origin. In myths it is said to be the prison of the greatest of all Air element Primodials, bound by Moradin at the conclusion of the Dawn War and hidden away on top of the highest mountain, and that the primordial being loosed is one of the nine events that will trigger the apocalypse. Its wielders tend to be drawn to active volcanoes, but mysteriously never make it all the way there due to various odd coincidences and unlucky circumstances.

Properties

Rock Falls, Everyone Dies: The boulder is a thrown weapon with a range of 30, and can be thrown with one or two hands. It deals 1d8 Bludgeoning damage when thrown with one hand, or 1d10 when thrown with two hands.

Hold the Pose: You have immunity to Exhaustion, but you must spend at least four hours standing up or kneeling holding the stone to gain the benefits of a long rest. You also have advantage on Strength and Constitution ability checks. However, while you are immune to Exhaustion, you are not immune to being sore and cranky.

Feign Perception: The stone's bearers, if not already, become prideful and overconfident in their strength, causing them to miss and/or ignore many subtle clues and hints in body language and conversation. You have disadvantage on Insight and Persuasion.

One Hundred Hands: According to myth, the stone's bearers have a might that surpasses even that of the Hundred-Handed Ones, enabling them to hold up the entire sky. Your carrying capacity and push/drag weights are multiplied by 100.

Still A Boulder: The stone weighs 1,000 pounds and gives disadvantage on Dexterity ability checks.

A yklwa (pronounced YICK-ul-wah) is a simple melee weapon that is the traditional weapon of Chultan warriors. A yklwa consists of a 3-foot wooden shaft with a steel or stone blade up to 18 inches long. It costs 1 gp, and it deals 1d8 piercing damage on a hit.
