Artifical Heart 🩸

Your heart has overflown with malice. Unable to bear the inundated hatred of monstrosities, fiends, and undead. The divine blood coursing through your veins was already too much to handle on its own, but now you run the risk of heart failure. You're in need of a replacement. An artificially boosted and supplied heart to power through the many contents of your body. Keeping you alive.

In order to unlock your full potential that is unrestricted by your mortal body, you must venture out into the world and find a surgeon talented enough to replace it with an artificial one capable of bearing the strenuous loads placed on it. Go. You don't have much time.

Once you find and replace your original heart with an artificial one through a series of missions and adventures, you will unlock your latent abilities. Gaining the following benefits:

Wrath of the Father - Your new heart pumps your blood more efficiently and effectively throughout your body, allowing you to take advantage of your hereditary traits. When activating your "Bloodlust Ability"[1] your hair turns red as both your eyes glow brightly. Giving you temporary expertise in Intimidation checks. Intimidation checks made in this manner use your Wisdom modifier in place of Charisma. Additionally, taking the attack action within the duration of this ability allows you to strike 4 times instead of 2. Inheriting the speed of your parent. These skills dissipate once you're no longer in "Bloodlust".

Gratification of the Mother - The wrath and endless passion of your mother courses through your body unobstructed by your lacking heart. Every 6 seconds, you regain 1 stamina point[2] as the newfound ardor of your mother surges through you. Abilities that would be activated with a single use of your stamina can now be activated at no cost. Your newfound energy hones your reflexes beyond physical possibility, making you immune to critical hits and slashing when unarmored. 

Master of the Craft - The "Way of the Unseen Blade" had always been a theoretical art -- Unpracticed by many due to physical limitations. Your "god born" body has allowed you to be a practical expert, but only now can you truly reach mastery with your newfound heart. Your "Soft Slices ⾝" ability[3] no longer reveals your blade past the 4th strike with the aid of your precise reflexes. Your art of misdirection becomes nigh unparalleled. Foes with blindsight, tremorsense, and truesight are no longer privy to the spectacle of your weapons. You gain a +10 bonus to your stealth and sleight of hand checks, and your monk save DCs increase by +3. Finally, bonuses between your unarmed strikes and phantasmal weapons become shared and combined. Truly becoming one with your weapon. An extension of your body.

Magical Nature - Your artificial heart is magical in essence and can be interrupted through spells such as dispel magic and anti-magic field. When subjected to these effects your heart "defects" and momentarily stuns you. Interrupting your rapid stamina regeneration, removing your immunities, and temporarily blinding you for one turn. When affected by the aforementioned spells or other similar effects your heart quickly adapts after 6 seconds and becomes immune to defection for the next hour. You need four times as much sustenance to maintain your new organ.
