I fell unconscious and my cleric tried to take the mustache off my body before he healed me, should he be able to take off the mustache without complimenting it?

There are so many embarrassing encounters this could cause. I love it.

I think that would be up to your DM

"It's" is the contraction of "it" and "is." The possessive form of "it" is "its."

You could give it a different curse where the more they compliment on its look, the more it itches.

I stuck this in a dungeon to see what my players would do, and the dragonborn bard put it on.

I gave a suggestion in an earlier comment. It is just a silly item, the DM can decide hard rules to it if need be. 

My suggestion would be a DC 12 charisma save and 10ft radius or forward facing cone. 

If you want it to be even more compelling you could raise the DC as high as you want as DM
