I love the thing, but you should give it a range. i know its a joke cursed item and i love it. because i love curses that are small and efficient. but there should be a bit more stats on that thing. otherwise the whole world will be compelled to, in unison compliment the guy.

 Wouldn't it compel his friends into giving away their positions as well when in a stealthing mission ?
cool that he does it, but he has to remember it affects his party as well.

 You're not wrong. I just used it as a funny thing whenever the PC who was wearing it would interact with NPCs or was walking through town. If you need Stats I would suggest a DC 12 Charisma saving throw and a 10ft radius or something similar. 

Add a wisdom saving throw or charisma saving throw to see if people are compelled to compliment the mustache. This is brilliantly funny.

I like it without a saving throw. Even Asmodeus himself would be forced, possibly after a huge dramatic speech to say, "...that...is...a fine mustache."

Funny idea, but it should be a common magic item.

This would be great to stick on a villain in a boss fight. The characters would be compelled to compliment their nemesis...

I have never ever needed anything more. Next campaign I gonna introduce an npc and give descriptions of how amazing their mustache is until one of my players say something.
