Hooked up to a thin copper rod etched with intricate runes is a uniquely treaded vellum made from Blink dog skin and Unicorn hair. This allows the user to inscribe a message and have it delivered in the hands of the intended recipient.
To send it, all he has to do is say his name. The vellum rolls up on itself as the given name magically etches on its surface and vanishes. Instantly, it will appear in the recipient's hands. The intended message has to fit unto the material which is 2 feet in width by 1 feet in lenght. The recipient can inscribe a missive back or it will return to its sender with the next dawn. The missive will not return until it has been unrolled by its recipient.
The missive will reach any distance, but will not cross dimensions or travel to any other plane of existence.
