The Aegis Blade is a living, soulbound weapon that draws on mana from the world. As the wielder grows stronger, so too does this weapon. Forged by the Lunarians in hopes that it might one day be used to defeat Tiamat.
Level 0: 1d8 Slashing + 1d6 Force on hit. If wielded with two hands, gain +1AC and proficiency in Acrobatics. Weapon is bound: can be instantly summoned into hand or dismissed to a pocket dimension. Also serves as Spell Focus and Magical Weapon (+0).
Level 1: At player level 10, Aegis Blade allows you to add your Dex modifier to attacks in addition to Str. The sword also becomes a +1 weapon.
Level 2: At player level 15, add 1d6 damage on crit, weapon becomes +2.
Level 3: At player level 20, add proficiency to weapon damage, weapon becomes +3.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
