A piece of arcalt is often made into a piece of jewelry, an amulet, ring, bracelet or tiara's are mostly used, though others exist.
Arcalt is a magical metal that enhances the wielders maical abilities, it has a straw color, and takes a lot of heat to reshape, most pieces found are therefore not cast or forged, but rather chuncks of metal.
there are 3 rareities and 3 forms of arcalt
minor piece - Minor pieces give a +1 to whatever form arcalt is used
Medium piece - medium pieces give a +2 to whatever form of arcalt is used
Major piece - Major pieces give a +3 to whatever form of arcalt is used
Arcalt of force - deal extra force damage equal to the bonus
Arcalt of accuracy - Give the bonus to an attack roll of a spell
Pure arcalt - Give the bonus to the attack roll and add the bonus in force damage to the spell
Pure Arcalt is often used in magic items, the arcalt can enhance a magic items power, this is in the hands of the DM.
