It is an old rust sword with a broken obsidian blade with a rusted look as it has not been wielded in millennia
Alcaeus's forgotten blade is a sentient sword that has a minor Archfey who used to be a great warrior but was sealed in this blade and was forgotten for a long time no one knowing its whereabouts in the fey wilds

He is able to telepathically communicate with its wielder and knows all the languages its wielder knows, He always wants to show that he is the most useful weapon and thinks that all else is incomparable to him. If the wielder tries to use another weapon that he is not combined with and has no intention of combining with, the wielder must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw.
If in battle he is not used then Wielder must make a DC Charisma Saving throw of 20 or be Possed by Alcaeus until the end of battle where possession will drop, Wielder can make Charisma Saving throws of 18 to take back control of their body.
He does not like fighting an opponent that is weaker and wishes for a truly equal battle.
If Wielder kills innocence then there will be a conflict with the blade and it will slowly stop lending the wielder his magic until they prove themselves worthy or chooses a new champion to wield him
