Weapon (greataxe), rare (requires attunement by a Wielder must be affected by a spell while using this weapon in order to attune, the attunement activates as soon as the affect begins.)

A thin unbreakable crystal makes the blade of this weapon, the blade appears to only be the outline of about 1 inch with all interior material removed.  Ornate gold filigree runs down the handle in swirling patterns.  The blade has a faint shimmer.

When the wielder is affected by a spell, the the missing interior of the blade fills with a paper thin shimmering crystal that grants the user +1 to AC and an additional effect based on the school of magic the spell is from:

Evocation: The weapon does an additional 1d4 damage of a damage type appropriate to the spell.

Necromancy: The user gains 1d10+con THP at the start of their turn.

Abjuration: The user gains a +1 to saving throws against spell effects.

Divination: The user gains advantage on attack rolls if each attack targets a different creature (Targeting a creature on a previous turn still applies when selecting a target on subsequent turns for this benefit.

Conjuration: The user may teleport 60 feet to an unoccupied space they can see as a bonus action on each of their turns.

Transmutation: The user gains an additional 15 feet movement speed.

Enchantment: The bonus to attack, damage, and AC becomes +2. This bonus may apply multiple times to a max of +3.

Illusion: The user gains truesight up to 30ft away, if the user already has truesight, the range increases by 30 fight.

When this property activates it lasts for a number of rounds equal to the level of spell cast+1 (1 round for cantrips), with the exception of enchantment, no two effects may be active at once, the second effect removes the current one, the THP from necromancy stays after losing the effect but no more are gained at the start of turn.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
